Julien H. Park currently works at the Children's University Hospital Münster, Germany, doing ongoing research in genetics, rare disorders, and inborn errors of metabolism with a special focus on redox-related disorders and Congenital disorders of glycosylation (CDG).

Julien H. Park completed his medical studies at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster. In 2018, he did his doctorate at the metabolism laboratory of the Münster clinic for child and adolescent medicine, where he accepted a position as a research assistant in the same year. During his studies, Park was drawn to Edinburgh for a research stay; In 2020/21 he went to Umeå University in Sweden as a postdoc. The work of the young researcher has received several awards, for example from the Medical Faculty of the University of Münster, the Köhler Foundation, the Working Group for Pediatric Metabolic Medicine and the Federal Association for CDG Syndrome.
